Chat with Mel today on joint care

Melody was getting her mom to appointments and trying to do a Costco run while we chatted on our phones. While I work around the house I carry mine in a pouch since none of my pockets are big enough. We both like the Chosen Avocado Oil Mayo most of the ingredients seem good. In Guelph a large jar is 9.99 at Costco. Here in Montreal a small jar is 13.99 at most stores and Costco does not carry it. She picked up two for me to get when I visit her. Yes! Thanks Mel. She had made an awesome batch of bone broth the other day. I had told her that a small cup of bone broth was good after a longer fast according to Thomas DeLauer. He says it repairs and prepares the gut for eating. I was just listening to one of his YouTube videos before bed. He also mentioned that for older fasters it can be important to not fast everyday just in case one slows down one's metabolism only having 1 or 2 meals a day. Definitely more details on that is important. Lots of articles on google I scanned said vegetables were great for bones and joints, but we are not convinced about the complete vegan thing as an option for us with both of us having had head injuries. It is important to get amino acids when there are injuries. I finally came across an article that clearly stated that the most important vitamins for joints are found in large amounts in bone broth/collagen. Interesting! Bone broth will always be a part of my routine. I make it in the instant pot or buy grassfed from a healthfood store. I truly feel better with bone broth.
